Canada's Natural Resources Minister and U.S. Energy Secretary met in Ottawa and discussed ways to help Ukraine to reduce its dependence on Russian energy. Increase of use of national energy resources, diversification of energy import, as well as energy efficiency measures and renewable energy should be parts of the solution.
Energy experts from both countries have been working to identify Ukraine's critical energy needs and the state of energy efficiency and conservation efforts in the country.
