Accident at nuclear power plant in Ukraine: Electricity crisis across country worsens

A minor accident occurred at Zaporozhskaya nuclear plant, the largest in Europe, last Friday, according to the facility’s website. A reactor was switched off and put to maintenance as a result.  Volodymyr Demchyshyn, the new energy minister, said that the fault posed no danger and the plant would return to running as normal on Friday. Read more >>>
