Construction of the Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) terminal near Odessa with planned capacity of 10 billion cubic meters per year was initiated at the end of 2010 and then it was stopped and frozen. Terminal would significantly increase a security of natural gas supply in Ukraine, providing around quarter of its annual consumption.
