Government has approved a Ukraine-EU Energy Bridge pilot project

Ukraine-EU Energy Bridge pilot project provides for the transfer of electrical energy from the country’s Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant’s second power unit to the European Union. The export of energy will be arranged by disconnecting the unit from Ukraine’s national energy grid.

Polenergia International S.a r.l  signed a Memorandum on Ukraine-EU Energy Bridge implementation. Ukrainian side considers the project as one of financial instruments for completion of Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant’s third and fourth power units.
