IFC: Ukraine needs $50 billion of investments for energy efficiency upgrades in housing


This announcementwas made at a joint press conference of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving, and state-controlled Oschadbank, which was  dedicated to the state support of energy efficiency measures for the public, associations of multi-apartment buildings and construction cooperatives in Kyiv. According to Oschadbank, there are about 239,000 multi-apartment buildings in Ukraine, 80% of which need repair and thermal modernization. Read more at http://en.interfax.com.ua/
